Cell phone jail

This guy's alright. I came for the Cable TV article here and found it so interesting, I checked out more articles he wrote. This extra fee bullshit is such nonsense. If only there was somebody, some sort of public interest group that was helping fight against the strong lobbies of these companies.

The day was going great until my wife and I returned to our local CVS parking lot to find out that our car was a minor crime scene. Some upright citizen had found a way to inflict a level of damage on our car that is simply not ok to drive away from. Faith in humanity shaken. Looks like we'll need to replace the passenger side front fender and possibly the passenger side door. The waste-of-space responsible for this also managed to put a nasty gash in the sidewall of our front passenger side tire. Thanks for that whoever you are, I hope you can put the money you saved dodging responsibility for your actions to good use. Dick.

Ogre3D part 2

Alright so I've setup an environment on my windows machine. Wasn't too hard, with the IDE Code::Blocks and underlying minGW suite of compilers. A complete setup HOWTO can be found here.
I also found a great open source 3D modeler, useful perhaps for building the 3D objects used in a 3D world.

Came across a free 3D graphics library called Ogre, the pictures to the left are screen shots of a couple of the demos I compiled and ran on my machine. I'm still in the fooling around stage, I haven't really written anything original yet. I'm in the process of seeing what it takes to set up an environment on Windows. The main Ogre website is here, and on this site they have a wiki giving all sorts of information for setting up an environment. If this piques anyone's interest, let me know.

The shocker

No not that shocker, but this one: Bills' Losman unhappy, wants to be traded, here. Well no shit. Sucks though, I think we all wanted it to work out. The NFL's not a fun place sometimes. Speaking of the shocker, I was looking at cars at this little dealership in Schenectady and my eye caught this sporty little mazda or some shit, I don't remember the name of the car, anyway, on the rear bumper, there's a sticker displaying the shocker. This was, of course, hilarious, but I could not buy the car, as the owner clearly could not be trusted.
